Swan nesting on the "Frog Dam"

Black Swans are regular visitors to the wetlands and dams around the farm.  We are half way between two significant water bird habitats, the RAMSAR listed Corner Inlet and Andersons Inlet and seem to be a regular stop over destination.  Often just before sunset large flocks of swans pass over commuting between the two inlets.

It is great to see this pair of swans have decided our “Frog dam” is a suitable habitat for their nest this season.
